EIR Program
Entrepreneur-in-Residence
SFBI is launching its inaugural Entrepreneur-in-Residence program and actively seeking the right founding EIR. If you are an experienced founder ready for your next venture — and want to help shape Santa Fe's startup ecosystem while you build — this program is being designed for you.

The SFBI Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program is a new initiative we are building intentionally. We are not filling a role for the sake of filling it. We are looking for the right founding EIR — an experienced entrepreneur whose next chapter and whose commitment to this community make them a person whose presence changes what SFBI can do for every founder who walks through our doors.
The premise is straightforward: SFBI gives the EIR a fully integrated home base — workspace, network, resources, and access to one of New Mexico's most established entrepreneurial ecosystems — while the EIR builds their next company. In exchange, the EIR contributes meaningfully to the community around them: mentoring early-stage founders, advising on incoming client screening, facilitating workshops, and helping connect Santa Fe's startup ecosystem to regional hubs in Albuquerque, Austin, Phoenix, and Denver.
This is a 6–12 month tenure, with the potential to extend based on mutual interest and demonstrated impact. It is not a consulting arrangement or an advisory title. It is a working relationship between a founder who is building something and an incubator that wants to help — and be strengthened by — that process.
If you know someone who belongs in this role, we want to hear from you. If you think that person is you, we especially want to hear from you.
