Vista Therapeutics Uses Local Resources
October 2012
The Industrial Open House held at the Center for Integrated Nanotechnology (CINT) Core Facility in Albuquerque, September 2012 was a success with Dr. Neal Shinn, the Co-Director of CINT, drawing attention to how CINT can help commercialize nanotechnology and nanobiotechnology.
Dr. Spencer Farr, founder of Vista Therapeutics, presented an update and overview of Vista’s current technical and business status during the Open House, highlighting the interactions between CINT and Vista. We are fortunate to have two of the Nation’s five CINT centers in New Mexico, which work closely with two of the Nation’s ten national labs, which are also located in state.

Public-Private Partnerships
October 2011
Santa Fe’s PureColor, Inc. (SFBI client) and the New Mexico Small Business Association are proud to announce a recently established partnership with Los Alamos National Laboratory. The Lab is supporting PureColor with $20,000 of in-kind services, includes usage of facilities and high tech imaging equipment, as well as personnel and analytical chemistry services to aid ongoing product development efforts. This is a great example of public-private partnership, New Mexico’s strong sense of community, and the Lab’s efforts to support local entrepreneurs.
